Nonno

Superior quality red wine. Produced from a blend of three varieties of autochtonous grapes of Upper Croatian Istria: Teran 60%, Refosk 30%, Rose Muscat (Porečki Muskat) 10%, thanks to vineyards in particularly favorable positions. Made only in selected vintages.

Besides, a 100% biocompatible process & grassing program is implemented: this in order to naturally enrich the soil with oxygen and nitrogen so to obtain the best biodiversity during flowering, in full compliance with a minimalist philosophy making minimum systemic impact; the treatments are integrated, especially with copper-based products. The manual harvest takes place at the end of September for Rose Muscat and at the beginning of October both for Teran and Refosk. Maceration lasts from 15 to 20 days; this will be followed by a spontaneous fermentation inside 250l Slavonian oak barrels, and finally a long aging up to 48 months in the same strong-toasted barrels.
